FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
Henry Lopez, Accel founder, brings over 27 years experience in building, construction, acquisition, and development of major real estate projects. Henry has successfully led high profile commercial, retail, residential and hospitality projects to completion including the multi-billion dollar Central Station Development. He has also overseen the $50-million renovation of 250 S. Wacker Drive, a 247,000 square foot, 17 story office building along with many other major high profile projects in Chicago. Since founding Accel, Henry has continued to expand his clientele, completing numerous projects for the government and military.
Prior to founding Accel, Henry served as Senior Vice President at Forest City Enterprises, as Vice President for The John Buck Company, as Vice President for LR Development (now part of the Related Companies) and as Senior Project Manager for Power Construction Company.
Henry’s professionalism, creative thinking, negotiation skills and extensive experience in both the building and financial aspects of the business, enhance his ability to add value by creating substantial saving opportunities well before a project begins. He has a proven track record of delivering exceptional, on time and on budget projects, achieved through effective decision making, attention to detail and leadership. Henry holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering and Construction Management from Bradley University.
